travel north america united states oregon beaver creek kayaking

Beaver Creek flows into the Pacific Ocean at Ona Beach in Lincoln County, Oregon.
I have kayaked the area twice, the last time was in early September of 2024.
It is a beautiful, calm, waterway surrounded by marshland and trees and is the home to many species of wildlife.
It is easy to navigate, especially when running with the tide...
Going against an incoming tide, especially going west in the afternoon, you could encournter both a light current and, possibly, strong inland breezes to row against.
For the most part, there are no visable homes and the "wilderness" is your only companion.
